The Japanese testing machine manufacturer Shimadzu looks back on more than 100 years of experience in materials testing. From its European central warehouse in Duisburg, Shimadzu supplies the European market not only with testing machines but also with all spare parts. Since 2010, SSW Prüfsysteme und Service GmbH Weißberg has supported Shimadzu as a DAkkS calibration laboratory in service, sales and calibration of testing machines. Thanks to the many years of experience we have gained with materials testing machines, we are able to offer our customers a tailor-made solution. For example, we can integrate existing grips from other testing machines and thereby reduce investment costs where needed. The product line for destructive materials testing covers a wide range of tensile, compression and flexural testing machines, divided into two series: the production-oriented AGS-X series and the AGX-V2 laboratory series. The standard range extends from 1 N to 1 MN; above 1 MN, hydraulic testing machines are built as special machines. Of course, we also supply a wide variety of grips and adapters for all machines. Below you will find descriptions of the series and an overview of the different machine sizes. All materials testing machines are supplied with software and operating manuals in German. We install regular software updates during the annual calibration or provide them to our customers on request. Thanks to the demo centre in Duisburg, a demonstration on a materials testing machine of your choice is possible at any time. There, we can work with you to define your requirements in advance and present the right solution.

EZ-Test

AGS-X

• Load cells with a test force accuracy of ±0.5 % over the range from 1/1 to 1/500 of the maximum capacity
• 1 kHz sampling rate ensures that no force changes are missed
• Load cells with maximum capacities from 1 N to 300 kN
• Comprehensive safety features such as limit switches, emergency stop buttons and safety covers
• Frame capacities of 10 kN, 20 kN and 50 kN for tabletop models and 100 kN and 300 kN for floor models
• Extended-column models are available for testing materials with large elongations

AGX-V2

• Tabletop models with a capacity of up to 50 kN and floor models with frame capacities of up to 600 kN
• Ultra-high-speed data sampling (10 kHz) and crosshead control (1 kHz) enable remarkably precise stress and strain control.
• The modular control unit allows the expansion of data acquisition inputs (max. 20), sensor outputs (max. 20) and digital control outputs.
• The intelligent crosshead improves ease of use and provides additional safety measures to protect both the hardware and the user.
• The multi-joint eliminates the need to exchange heavy components when switching from tension to compression.
• Choose from additional options such as column extensions of up to 750 mm and wider frames with up to 1,375 mm effective test width
